Collect the shells
Discarded coconut shells become our starting point.
Let’s talk

BriqUp is a youth-led startup in Bangladesh transforming discarded coconut shells into practical fuel briquettes. We connect two everyday challenges: coconut waste and businesses’ reliance on conventional coal.
Our goal is simple. Give an underused resource a purpose, and give restaurants, hotels and commercial kitchens another choice.

Compressed coconut-shell fuel for suitable cooking and heating applications. Built around a practical idea: make better use of what we already have.
Designed to support commercial cooking.
A cleaner-burning alternative to conventional solid fuels.
Discarded coconut shells become useful fuel.

Discarded coconut shells become our starting point.

The shells are processed into carbonized material.

Prepared material is compressed into briquettes and dried.

Finished briquettes are prepared for commercial customers.
Our approach starts with a resource that is often discarded. Repurposing coconut shells creates commercial value and helps businesses explore alternatives to conventional coal.
Put discarded coconut shells to work.
Create useful products from locally available materials.
